Melbourne Water Capital Works Program – St Albans to Werribee Water Main

The new water main will supply additional water to the cities of Brimbank, Melton and Wyndham, to accommodate the increasing number of residents within Melbourne’s outer western suburbs.

Spanning the three Councils, the water main will be 17km long and service 40,000 homes. The new main is designed to transfer a maximum of 200 mega litres of water per day, the equivalent of 80 Olympic-sized swimming pools.
